Are you ready to make a change in your life, regain your confidence, and redefine your purpose?
INDIVIDUALS - I support clients in identifying real versus perceived barriers, and learning how to change our thinking, routines, and activities to feel better. Self-knowledge and acceptance are the basis for living our fullest lives and forming healthy relationships. Often we have internalized traumatic events and/or unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior that we carry with us into adulthood. Therapy can provide a much-needed opportunity for self-reflection and act as a catalyst for change. I have specialized training in general Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for insomnia (CBTI), and for Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for addressing trauma.
COUPLES - A sense of wellbeing is deeply tied to one's most intimate relationship. In therapy, we map out relationship strengths and recurring conflicts. Together, we work through childhood traumas and attachment challenges, as we move towards changing unhelpful behaviors and communication loops. We target improving communication, intimacy, co-parenting skills, and sense of commitment, and aim to reduce conflict and disconnection. I have experience with concerns such as addiction, trauma and infidelity, and I approach couples work through an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) lens.
